Scientific School

1- Established the Master and Doctoral degrees of the National Cancer Institute (1983-1985) including: master degree in pain, and doctoral degrees in Radiotherapy, Medical Oncology, Anesthesia, Clinical Pathology, Pathology and Cancer Biology.

2– Supervised a total of 45 doctoral degrees and 10 master degrees in the field of Oncology.

3– Published a total of 7 text books for postgraduate students in the fields of Pathology and Clinical oncology which were distributed to students free of charge.

4– On-job training of junior staff of the National Cancer Institute, either as research assistants or co-authors of published articles (total 113).

5– Established at NCI in 1988 a fund-box for scientific activities to cover expenses of participation of staff in conferences or training abroad. This fund supported 472 staff members during the past 10 years (1988-2007). The program helped in technology transfer and kept the staff of NCI at a high international standard.

Of the total 114 articles published, 67 are registered in the internet during the period (1997-2010).Including in the appendix is a Print Citation Overview dated 14 April 2012 which indicates that 9 of the published articles were used more than 9 times (h index=9), moreover one of the published article was highly cited ( 107 times)
